Jeff Brown,
President (Elected)
Term: 5/2021-24

In my 3+ years on the board, I have enjoyed being a part of a group of people that focuses on making Augusta Ranch a great place to live. I feel that Augusta Ranch is one of the best communities in the Valley to live in and I enjoy being part of the team that makes that happen. I believe that being a small business owner in the golf industry that I am able to work closely with the golf course management team to make the communities’ ownership of the golf course successful. Finally, my family has really enjoyed everything about the community since we moved here almost 5 years ago. We have made numerous friends and really enjoy all of the events that the community puts on.

LeeAnn Bohman,
Treasurer (Elected)
Term: 5/2023-26

I have been a resident of Augusta Ranch for almost seven years. My husband and I chose this community before we even moved here because we could see its potential to be a great place to raise our five kids. We have cherished the opportunity to live here! We love the parks and beauty of our neighborhoods. We love that it’s safe for our family. We love the people who live here! In those seven years, I have been an active part of our community, serving in volunteer positions both in the schools and in the HOA. I served on the HOA board for a couple of years until I took a break to pursue a master’s degree to teach. While on the board, I attended all the meetings, helped with all the activities, produced the monthly newsletter, and took other assignments.

Beth Patton,
Director (Elected)
Term: 5/2022-25

My husband and I have lived in Augusta Ranch for over 19 years and feel a special bond to our neighbors and community. I feel that my prior experience in educational administration works well with the needs of the board such as listening to concerns and making informed and fiscal decisions that are vital to maintaining the beauty, quality, and safety of our neighborhood. Volunteering time to serve as a board member provides a clear way for me to serve and give back to my community. Thank you for your consideration.

Jan Wallace,
Director (Elected)
Term: 5/2022-25

My family and I have lived in the Augusta Ranch Community for the past 19 years where we have raised our 2 children (now aged 20 and 22) and have watched the community grow into what it is today. I am currently on the HOA Board and am a part of the Events Committee helping plan all the Augusta Ranch events including the HOA picnic, Oktoberfest, On Course for the Holidays, Easter, and many others. When not planning events for the community, you can find me supporting our local economy (Scratch Pub and Grill) several days a week with my husband and friends. I would love to continue serving the Augusta Ranch Community for many years to come and am grateful for your consideration in choosing me as a member of the HOA.

Brad Whitehouse,
Director (Elected)
Term: 5/2022-25

I retired from the Oklahoma City Fire Department in 2006 having spent 26 years in suppression as a major. I have an Associate’s Degree in Municipal Fire Protection. I worked at both the 95 Murrah bombing and 2001 World Trade Center disasters then using this knowledge after I retired to teach disaster management for Homeland Security. I’m 69 and in very good health. I’ve lived here for 10 years and have a membership at the our golf course that I play at nearly every day. I feel that I have a lot to offer as a candidate since I’ve worked on large budgets as a Vice President for Local 157 of the IAFF. I hold strong teamwork and family values so I’m very confident that I can be a valuable asset to this already great community and especially the HOA board. So, to sum it all up I love this community and am all in on improving it. It’s with a great deal of pride and wanting to make things better to benefit the entire community.

Barbara Ezyk,
Director (Appointed)
Term: 8/2022-24

In 2004, my husband and I purchased a townhome in the East Valley, specifically, the Alta Mesa community. Still working full time in Colorado, we referred to ourselves as “working snowbirds”. We fell in love with the East Valley. In 2017, when searching for our permanent home in the Valley, we found Augusta Ranch. We were impressed with the community: people, golf course, restaurant and the HOA. I began attending HOA meetings to learn more about the community. I then joined the Events Committee and became involved in the collaboration between the HOA, the Golf Shop and the restaurant to bring entertainment for all the members of our community. In August 2022, a vacancy opened, I applied and was voted onto the Board. Along with the Events Committee work, I also assist with the Monthly E-Newsletter. I received my Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in December 1994 and licensed in 1995. My main practice was in Medical Law and Administrative Law. The last six years of my career, I developed and was the Executive director of the Colorado Lawyer Assistance Program for the Colorado Supreme Court. Before my law school education and career, however, I worked many years as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care. My husband and I feel so fortunate to be part of this Augusta Ranch Community.

Kamin Havens,
Community Manager

I have been a community manager for 16 years and 13 of those years I have been at Augusta Ranch. Before entering into property management I was a first and second grade teacher for 8 years. My husband and I are both from the Midwest and have been living in Arizona for the last 23 years with our two daughters. It is very rare that a community manager is at one community for over 10 years, but I enjoy working with the board, the residents and the community life (events) in Augusta Ranch.
