Apply to become a Board Member or Committee Candidate
If you are interested in serving on the board or a committee, please read the qualifications and instructions below. Elections are held for vacancies every year in May at the Annual Board Meeting. To be added to the ballot, please choose one of two methods; Online Form Application (below) or PDF Application Download. Per the governing documents, only association members can serve on the Board of Directors.
Board or Committee Member Application Prerequisites
- Interest in serving the community
- Commitment to upholding the CC&Rs of Augusta Ranch
- Ability to listen and make informed decisions
- Time commitment to attend regularly scheduled evening Board meetings and additional time to participate at the committee level
- Ability to communicate with other homeowners
- Confirmed owner of a unit in the association (or qualify as candidates based on the association’s provisions that may allow someone who is a representative of an owner) – see related sections in Association Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and CC&Rs
Board Candidate Instructions
- Ensure you meet the qualifications listed above
- Select “Board Candidate” in the “Subject” field and complete the form
- Elections are held for vacancies in May every year at the Annual Board Meeting
- “Name” and “Biography” information will be included in a ballot mailed to the entire community
- Read the instructions for both Board and Committee Candidates and complete the form accordingly
Special Committee Candidate Instructions
- Ensure you meet the qualifications listed above
- Select “Committee Candidate” in the “Subject” field and complete the rest of the form
- Put any additional comments/skills/etc. you would like the board to know of in the “Additional Info” field
- The board will contact you if an opportunity to serve on a special committee arises
- Read the instructions for both Board and Committee Candidates and complete the form accordingly
